POCKET PRAYER BOOK

Because none currently exists, and many Orthodox Christian military personnel have expressed excitement and interest in obtaining one, The Faithful Centurion, Inc. is raising funds to create the first ever ruggedized, water and mud-proof, subdued Orthodox Christian Service Members Pocket Prayer Book, for field use and everyday use. It's going to be light weight and small enough to fit in a uniform cargo pocket. We have already located and are working with a company that produces waterproof paper, have obtained a renowned and very experienced Orthodox Christian editor who will help us with design and layout for the book, including integrating iconography, and are working with several chaplains and priests on obtaining those prayers most relevant to military personnel during peacetime, deployments, and wartime. The book will include prayers for conducting physical training (PT), prayers before shooting on a range, prayers before PCSing, prayers before battle, etc. It is our intent to provide active duty or currently serving Orthodox Christian Service Members a free copy of the pocket prayer book. For this reason, and because the materials required to create the book are so expensive, we are asking for a significant amount of money in donations to help us ensure that this dream, but also a necessity for Orthodox Christians serving, becomes a reality.
